The facade (2) or glazed roof (3) has supporting structures (60, 61) at which a set of surface elements (4, 6) is arranged, where the surface elements are bordered by respective frames (5, 7). The surface elements are angularly arranged with respect to each other by an external frame (12) and are combined to a premounted unit. The premounted unit with the angularly arranged surface elements is fixed to the supporting structures. The surface elements are designed as irregular triangles and/or squares.

Eine Fassade (2) oder ein Lichtdach (3) eines Gebäudes (1) besitzt eine Tragstruktur (60, 61), an der eine Vielzahl von Flächenelementen (4, 6) angeordnet sind, die jeweils von einem Rahmen eingefasst sind. Dabei sind mehrere Flächenelemente (4, 6) mit einer winkligen Ausrichtung untereinander durch einen Außenrahmen (12) zu einer vormontierten Einheit zusammengefasst, und die Einheit mit den winklig angeordneten Flächenelementen (4, 6) ist dabei an der Tragstruktur (60, 61) festgelegt, so dass auch komplexe Geometrien realisiert werden können. Ferner wird auch ein Verbindungselement für eine solche Tragstruktur bereitgestellt.
