Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2112303A1] The device has a locking finger (13) that is displaced at a rear side of a handling rod (10) along a direction perpendicular to the rod and moved to a locking position of the rod by an elastic return unit (15) e.g. helical spring. The finger is prolonged by a sensor (17) extended at a front side of the rod to push the finger to an unlocking position during closing a sliding opening frame. The finger is prolonged at the rear side of the rod by a pre-positioning end-fitting (25) co-operating with an opening on the frame to assure positioning of an espagnolette or espagnolette lock on the frame. An independent claim is also included for an espagnolette or espagnolette lock type lock fitting for a sliding opening frame, comprising a handling rod.
