The vapor extraction device (1) comprises a vent (111), a filter element (2) and a vapor guide plate (3). The vapor guide plate is mounted such that it is moved relative to the filter element and the vapor guide plate locking a suction area of the vent in a stationary position. The filter element completely covers the vent. The surface of the vapor guide element corresponds to the suction area, which is assigned to the vapor guiding element.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Dunstabzugsvorrichtung, die eine Absaugöffnung (111), ein Filterelement (2) sowie zumindest ein Wrasenleitblech (3) umfasst. Die Dunstabzugsvorrichtung (1) ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Wrasenleitblech (3) so befestigt ist, dass dieses relativ zu dem Filterelement (2) beweglich ist und das Wrasenleitblech (3) in einer Ruheposition einen Ansaugbereich der Absaugöffnung (111) verschließt.
