[origin: WO2008074739A1] The invention relates to a device for measuring the volumetric or mass flow of a medium (10) in a pipeline, comprising an inner pipeline with a measuring pipe (2), through which the medium (10) flows in the direction of the longitudinal axis (3) of the measuring tube (2), a magnet system (6, 7), generating a magnetic field (B) running through the measuring tube (2), essentially transverse to the longitudinal axis (3) of the measuring tube (2), with at least two measuring electrodes (4, 5), coupled to the medium (10) arranged in a region of the measuring tube (2) essentially perpendicular to the magnetic field (B) and with a regulation/analytical unit (8), which provides information about the volumetric or mass flow of the medium (10) in the measuring tube from the measured voltage induced in the measuring electrodes (4, 5). According to the invention, the regulation/analytical unit (8) is designed as a plug-in module which may be plugged into the measuring tube (2) by means of a plug mechanism (22, 23).
