Abstract (en)
The material has a bonding agent (20) provided at a surface of grains (30) e.g. maize, of granulates. The bonding agent at a portion of fibers (10) is bonded to the surface of coated grains (31) of the granulates. The grains exhibit a porous base material, where pores of the base material are filled with gas or air. Medium density of the grains lies in a range from 0.01 to 2 kilogram per liter, and medium diameter of grain size of the grains lies in a range from 0.5 to 50 millimeter. Medium length of the fibers lies in a range from 100 micrometer to 50 millimeter. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a plate or molded part comprising a material (2) a method for manufacturing a material.
