The housing has a housing pot (33) for accommodating a thread coil i.e. bobbin, and comprising a thread coil-accommodating chamber (35) whose inner diameter is adjusted in an area between a minimum inner diameter (ID) and an increased inner diameter. The chamber is preloaded at a condition with the diameter (ID) by a preloading unit. The pot exhibits a slot (36) extending internally from a housing pot coat (37) into a bottom wall (38) of the pot. The slot externally extends over a center (39) of the wall. The slot exhibits a slit width within a range between 0 and 0.5 millimeters.

Ein Fadenwickelgehäuse (25) hat einen Gehäusetopf (33) zur Aufnahme eines Fadenwickels (26). Ein Innendurchmesser eines Fadenwickel-Aufnahmeraums des Gehäusetopfes ist in einem Bereich zwischen einem minimalen Innendurchmesser und einem demgegenüber vergrößerten Innendurchmesser verstellbar. Es resultiert ein Fadenwickelgehäuse, bei dem sich der Fadenwickel bei guter Betriebssicherheit und Verfügbarkeit der Nähmaschine einfach einlegen lässt und mit einer Vorspannung umfasst wird.
