Abstract (en)

[origin: DE102007005131B3] The ring motor (1) comprises a stator (6) and a rotor (12) formed as rotary mill body (10). The stator has two different excitation systems and the mill body has a toothed structure. The toothed structure interacts electromagnetically with the exciter systems of the stator and cause rotation of the mill body. The exciter systems are implemented as current flowing coil system (4) and permanent magnetic system. The coil system is accommodated in slots of the stator and the permanently excited magnetic system is arranged in the form of permanent magnet in the stator.
