[origin: DE102007005338B3] On a first lining end (4), a lining (3) has a bent-off part to be inserted into a cylinder channel (2). The lining acts as an electrical conductor as far as the free end of the bent-off part. A lining storage device (6) holds the lining. A feeder device with a controller transports the lining from the lining storage device onto a cylinder. A contact (K) is formed by the lining storage device or the feeder device. An independent claim is also included for a method for detecting linings with bent-off part errors in a rotary printing machine.
