[origin: FR2912086A1] The device (1) has controlled valve assemblies (15-17, 22) to permit flow of outlet gas of an evaporator (2) towards a cab interior during normal functioning and to permit flow of gas of the cab interior through the evaporator during sterilization of the evaporator. A sterilization system (5) e.g. cold plasma reactor, is arranged in upstream of the evaporator during sterilization of the evaporator, where the system has two electrodes separated by a dielectric material. An independent claim is also included for a method for sterilizing an evaporator of an air supply device of a cab interior of a motor vehicle.
