Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2008107061A1] The invention relates to a hybrid vehicle having an internal combustion engine drive unit (2) that can be coupled to a transmission (6) via a first coupling unit (1), and an electric machine (3), wherein the transmission is driven exclusively by the internal combustion engine drive unit, or simultaneously by the internal combustion engine drive unit and the electric machine, or, in case of an open first coupling unit (9), is driven exclusively by the electric machine. The internal combustion engine drive unit has a first internal combustion engine unit (7) that can be coupled to the transmission via the first coupling unit, and a second internal combustion engine unit (8) that can be coupled to the first internal combustion engine unit via a second coupling unit (12).
