The injector (1) has an injection valve element (11) adjustable between a closing position and an opening position. A control valve (32) is provided for switching the injection valve element between the closing and opening positions. The control valve exhibits a sleeve-like control valve element (31) that is adjustable along an adjustment axis (30). The control valve element rests sealingly on a control valve seat element (41) in a closing position of the control valve element. The control valve seat element is movably arranged relative to the adjustment axis of the control valve element.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Kraftstoff-Injektor (1), insbesondere Common-Rail-Injektor, zum Einspritzen von Kraftstoff in einen Brennraum einer Brennkraftmaschine mit einem zwischen einer Schließstellung und einer Öffnungsstellung verstellbaren Einspritzventilelement (11), das mittels eines Steuerventils (32) schaltbar ist, wobei das Steuerventil (32) ein hülsenförmiges, entlang einer Verstellachse (30) verstellbares, Steuerventilelement (31) aufweist, das in seiner Schließstellung dichtend an einem Steuerventilsitzelement (15) anliegt. Erfindungsgemäß ist vorgesehen, dass das Steuerventilsitzelement (41) relativ zur Verstellachse (30) des Steuerventilelementes (31) bewegbar angeordnet ist.
