[origin: WO2008096039A1] The invention concerns a toy building set, which includes a set of building blocks (10.1 - 10.3, 11), in at least some of the sides (12) of which there are slots (13) parallel to the sides, in which there is a locking recess (14) and a connector series, which includes a set of connectors (15.1 - 15.6) intended to join the building blocks to each other, in which there are arms (18) joined to each other and equipped with tips (19), and which arms can be fitted into a slot of a building block, the tips fitting into the locking recess, to join the building blocks to each other. The locking recess is a locking slot pair (14) arranged on the bottom (20) of the slot, which is arranged to expand the slot in the direction of the side (12) of the building block and the arms of the connectors are arranged to be formed of rigid lugs (21), at the end of which is the said tip, and a shank (22) connecting the lugs to each other. In addition, the invention also concerns a connector and a toy building block.
