[origin: WO2008107386A1] The present invention relates to a transceiver circuit (10; 30), comprising: a first connection (LIN/PWMout), which can be connected to a bidirectional communication line and the potential of which can be set to a low level and a high level by a line driver (12, 13); a second connection (PWMin), which can be connected to a unidirectional communication line; a receiving repeater (11), which has an input; and a switching device (16; 17; 22), which has two switch positions, wherein in one switch position the input of the receiving repeater (11) is connected to the first connection (LIN/PWMout) and in the other switch position the input of the receiving repeater (11) is connected to the second connection (PWMin).
