Said drive motors (1, 2) are controlled in such a way that the elements (3, 13) are synchronised in at least one predetermined rotational angle position, a tolerance value is predefined for the accuracy of the synchronisation in the rotational angle position or positions and the size of the tolerance value is defined in accordance with at least one weaving parameter. The invention also relates to a governor and/or controller for controlling drive motors (1, 2) in a loom and to a loom.
