Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2008101856A1] The invention relates to a continuous hinge system for the panels (P) of a sectional door, that comprises first (1) and second (2) profiles for the horizontal edges of the panel. The profile (1) comprises two side wings (10, 11) connected together by a transverse wing (12) and an arched wing (14) connected to the second side wing (11). A bearing edge (15) in the form of a lug is formed between the arched wing (14) and the wing (11). The profile (2) comprises two side wings (20, 21) connected together by a transverse wing (22). The wing (21) has an edge (18) in the form of a groove. When the profiles are in an aligned position, the edge (18) of the wing (21) fits onto the shape of the lug of the bearing edge (15) so as to form a baffle. The arched wing (14) extends into the volume of the profiles and divides it into two decompression chambers (C2, C3). The invention also relates to a sectional door.
