[origin: WO2008098932A1] The invention relates to a cam drive (1) for an internal combustion engine, in particular for a motor vehicle engine, comprising at least one camshaft (2), on which at least one cam (3, 4) is arranged. The cam drive (1) further comprises a cam follower (9) for the direct or indirect transmission of a working curve defined by an outer contour of the at least one cam (3, 4) to one or more corresponding valves of the internal combustion engine. Said cam drive (1) also comprises at least one spring device (12) for loading the cam follower (9) against a corresponding cam (3, 4), wherein the at least one spring device (12) comprises a spring element (14), arranged on at least one fixable shaft section (13) and the spring device (12) is designed such that a rotation of the at least one fixable shaft section (13) brings about a loading of the spring element (14) against the cam follower (9).
