Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2008080962A1] The invention relates to a disk brake, particularly for a commercial vehicle, comprising a) a brake caliper (1) configured as a sliding caliper, b) two brake linings (4, 5), which are disposed in the brake caliper (1), c) at least one guide bar (12) for fastening the brake caliper (1) to a brake anchor plate (2), d) a tensioning device, effective via at least one adjusting spindle (7), e) a readjusting device (8), which is non-rotatably connected to the adjusting spindle (7), for compensating brake lining wear, f) a restoring device (13), disposed on the action side and having a restoring element (14) that is elastically deformable if the brake caliper (1) is displaced as a function of the braking operation and by means of which the brake caliper (1) can be automatically brought into a starting position. The disk brake is configured such that the restoring device (13) has a supporting part (15), which remains in the position thereof in relation to the brake anchor plate (2) if the brake caliper (1) is displaced as a function of the braking operation, and which interacts with the resilient restoring element (14).
