[origin: WO2008110472A1] The present invention relates to a transmission (1) having a transmission housing (7) and a rotational speed detecting device, which comprises a rotational speed transmitter (8) that is non-rotatably connected to a transmission shaft (11) and a stationary rotational speed sensor (4), which is disposed in a sensor arm (2) and by means of which the rotational speed of the transmission shaft (11) can be detected on the rotational speed transmitter (8). The sensor arm (2) comprising the rotational speed sensor (4) can be attached to the transmission housing (7) on at least two attachment points (5, 6).
