[origin: EP2119970A2] A method for fitting an extract hood onto a wall has a wall bracket (100) secured to the wall and with tags (124) onto which are located vertical slits in the rear of the duct. No other fittings are required. The hood is fitted and removed by lifting it onto and off the tags. The slits are slightly sloped to ease the fitting and removal of the hood. As the hood is lowered onto the tags it is also pressed onto the wall.
