[origin: EP2120217A2] The apparatus (14) has a reading and processing unit (16) for reading an electronic ballot paper (12). A vote validity control unit delivers a command for transferring the paper to a secured ballot box (15) after considering vote information in the paper, when the paper and/or vote conditions are valid. The unit (16) processes the vote information. An automatic transfer unit automatically transfers the paper to the box after receiving a confirmation signal to permit double recognition of the information by using data from the reading unit and by withdrawing the paper conserved in the box. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a secured electronic voting method (2) a computer program product comprising program code instructions for implementing the electronic voting method.
