[origin: WO2008132345A3] The invention relates to a hair dressing device that comprises two jaws (2, 3), wherein hair can be inserted between the two jaws, one of the ends thereof defining a handle (1) and each at the other end a treatment drum (10, 11) capable of rotation about the longitudinal axis of the jaw, at least one of said drums including a heating member (18). According to the invention, the apparatus includes a means for actuating at least one drum having an outer diameter between 22 mm and 38 mm in order to impart thereto a rotation speed of between 12 rot/min and 30 rot/min, the temperature of the drum (10, 11) at the contact surface with the hair ranging from 140°C to 230°C, and preferably being 200°C.
