Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1961660A1] The machine for packing stacks (3) of loose or bound printed material comprises a conveyor which moves the stack to a first work station where the base section (23) of the carton is fitted over it. It is then moved to a central unit (7) which inverts the stack and the base, after which it is passed to a second work station where a lid (24) is fitted over it. An independent claim is included for a method for packing stacks of loose or bound printed material using the machine.
