[origin: WO2008092802A1] In order to position the individual threads (1), a plurality of thread-guiding elements (2) are provided, through which at least one thread can be directed, which is pulled off a thread supply, for example a warp creel, and guided to the warping drum. The thread-guiding elements are stacked on top of each other in the vertical direction in displacement planes, which are parallel to each other, and are displaceably supported. Due to a relative displacement of the individual thread-guiding elements (2), the sequence of the threads, or groups of threads, that are pulled off on the warping section, in relation to the horizontal width of the warping section, can be determined from the position of the thread-guiding elements without crossing. The positioning of the thread-guiding elements in two displacement directions can be performed, for example, by a traction gear having a Bowden cable (19).
