[origin: WO2008098848A1] The invention relates to a delivery unit for delivering fuel from a fuel reservoir to an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle. Said delivery unit comprises a fuel pump which is arranged in a swirl pot, a fuel filter which is arranged downstream of the fuel pump, and a valve which is arranged in the swirl pot. Said valve is arranged downstream of the fuel filter and in a zone of the swirl pot that is permanently filled with fuel.
