[origin: WO2008111737A1] Provided is a method for controlling a compressor of an air conditioner. A constant-speed compressor and an inverter compressor are provided in an outdoor unit, and a plurality of indoor units are connected to the outdoor unit. The constant-speed compressor is driven at a proper time by rapidly detecting a case where the inverter compressor reaches the maximum frequency but fails to satisfy a target pressure.
