[origin: EP2123402A1] The device (10) has a storage container (12) for a dry ice granulates, and a propellant gas supply line is connected to an inlet (32). A conveying device (18) comprises a motor driven movable conveying element for bringing the dry ice granulates from the storage container in to a melt flow path of a propellant gas. The conveying device comprises a discharge opening and a conveying element is movable in a discharge position, where a conveying chamber is aligned with the discharge opening in the discharge position.
