Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2123406A1] The damper (2) has a damping arrangement with a cylindrical elastic damping element for damping vibration and defining a cylinder damper axis. A spacer (12) is dimensioned, so that the damper is mountable to a power tool i.e. hammer drill, and a ratio of a distance between an axis of vibration and a handle (18) to another distance between the vibration axis and the arrangement is 2:1. The arrangement damps axial motion along the damper axis and a tilting motion relative to the damper axis. The arrangement has a half-cylinder barrow-shaped cladding part (6.1) limiting the element movement. An independent claim is also included for a power tool comprising a power tool body.
