Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2123811A1] The machine (1) has a vertically movable ring frame (4) with a spinning ring that includes a rotor. A path limiting component (10) is designed such that the ring frame is blocked by the component in downward movement, during movement of the component in a direction of opening position (X) of fixing elements (24) when attaining a desired position of the fixing elements. The component is not movable in the open position direction. The fixing elements bear maximum part of a weight of the ring frame by blocking the ring frame using the component.
