[origin: EP2123898A1] The injector has an injecting valve element controllable via a control valve (29) i.e. servo valve. The control valve has a sleeve type control valve element (28) i.e. dual-cone-control valve element, which exhibits a sealing surface at a side facing a control valve seat (35). The sealing surface is designed of a sealing edge (54) formed between high pressure sided and low pressure sided cone surfaces (55, 56), where a radial extension (R) of the cone surface (55) ranges to maximum of fifteen percentage of diameter (D1) of the sealing edge.
