Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1974894A1] The film (3) has welding, unwelding and untear aluminum layers superimposed with respect to each other, and a pre-existing oriented tear zone constituted of a butt weld. The weld assembles an end of another plastic film with another end of third plastic film. A weld zone is placed in the thickness of the welding layer of the plastic film (3). The butt weld is located in a region defined by a pre-existing slit (11) whose thickness is lower than thickness of the film (3). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for fabricating a pre-existing oriented tear zone in a plastic film (2) a device for implementing a pre-existing oriented tear zone fabricating method.
