Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2008110520A1] The fixed point (14) arranged on a guiding track (5) substantially comprises a carriage (19) that can be moved along the guiding track (5). The carriage is guided along the free leg (5.2) of the guiding track (5) by means of guide shoes (22) and carries a yoke (23). A console (24) is arranged on the guiding track (5), a damping element (25) being supported on said console. The end (10) of a belt (11) is held by means of a connecting element (26), said connecting element in turn being attached to the yoke (23) by means of a tension rod (27) and nuts (28). In case of an emergency stop, during which the brake of the drive unit slows down the elevator cabin until standstill, the occurring deceleration forces are transferred to the yoke (23) by means of the belt (11), connecting element (26) and tension rod (27). The deceleration forces effect a downward displacement of the carriage (19) into the suspension position against the damping capacity of the damping element (26).
