Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2008110713A2] The invention relates to an infinitely variable hybrid transmission with power take-off, that comprises a purely electric operation mode and two hybrid operation modes, in which the constitutive members are distributed between a main power chain and a power take-off chain connecting in parallel the thermal engine (M) to the wheels of the vehicle, said means including at least three epicyclic gear drives (G1, G2, G3), two electric machines (ME1, ME2) connected to the power take-off chain, and a reduction stage (R), characterised in that it further comprises additional coupling means (E1, F; F1, F2) for interrupting the main power chain between the thermal engine and a gear drive for grouping the two power chains before the wheels of the vehicle.
