[origin: US2008229514A1] Provided herein is a composition comprising: a) a transglucosidase enzyme; and b) a natural gum polysaccharide, wherein said natural gum polysaccharide is a substrate for said transglucosidase enzyme. A method of using a transglucosidase enzyme to a degrade natural gum polysaccharide is also provided. The composition and method may be employed in cleaning applications.
