Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2008122724A1] The invention relates to an exhaust line (30) for an internal combustion engine (10) that comprises a duct (31, 32) for circulating the burnt gases and on the path of which are provided means for injecting (35) a reducing agent, eddy generating means (50) and a SCR catalyst (33). According to the invention, the eddy generating means include a housing in which said injection means gives, and having an axial outlet connected on the SCR catalyst side and a side inlet connected to said duct along an axis that is offset relative to the axis of the axial outlet in order to provide a tangential inlet of the burnt gases into the housing.
