Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2008113099A1] A fuel delivery system for measuring first fuel usage in an electronically controlled engine as disclosed. A diesel fuel injector (6) for delivering the first fuel is provided and a second fuel injector for delivering liquid gas fuel is provided. An inductive coil (10) is wound around a lead (11) which connects the injector (6) with the electronic control unit (9) of the vehicle. Electronic pulses for opening the injector (6) are supplied along the lead (11) and these are measured by the inductive lead (10) so as to form a non-intrusive method of measuring the amount of diesel fuel used by the engine.
