[origin: WO2008101782A1] The invention relates to a fuel injection valve for fuel injection in internal combustion engines, comprising a housing (1) in which a control chamber (14) is formed, wherein the fuel injection occurs as a function of the pressure in the control chamber (14). The fuel injection valve has a valve piece (12), which is disposed in a hollow space (5) of the housing (1) and which delimits the control chamber (14) radially outward, wherein an annular chamber (20) is formed between the valve piece (12) and the wall of the hollow space (14), wherein the annular chamber can be filled with fuel at high pressure. The annular chamber (20) is sealed in relation to a low-pressure chamber (5) formed in the housing (1) by means of a sealing ring (40) disposed between the valve piece (12) and the wall of the hollow space (14), wherein the sealing ring (40) is made of polyetheretherketone (PEEK).
