Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2008074316A2] The method entails the user of a blood treatment device being guided through the individual steps without being faced by too many selection options. However, the user is still able to react in a flexible way to certain treatment situations. On a screen (36), several steps to be carried out next are shown in display fields (70). At least one of these display fields is provided with an identifier (52) and is highlighted in relation to the other display fields. A control means thus provides a recommendation for the selection of the step that is to be carried out next, without forcing the user to carry out this step. The user also has the possibility of selecting one of the other steps (701,703-706). This permits a high degree of flexibility in the selection of the steps to be carried out, which steps can be adapted to the needs of the particular patient and to the requirements of the user.
