[origin: DE102007009545A1] The device has a modulation producing device (2) recording an electrical potential difference (1) that controls a reflection modulation device (3) by a modulation signal. The reflection modulation device modulates reflection characteristics of a sensor antenna (4) such that a measured value of the potential difference is interrogated by an interrogator. The interrogator radiates and receives high frequency signals of the sensor antenna along a transmission path (6), where the potential difference is static. An independent claim is also included for a method for recording a measured value of an electrical potential difference and for wireless retrieval of the measured value.
