[origin: DE202007002435U1] An extraction system for microwave-assisted extraction comprises: (a) a container (1) for solvent (L); (b) a chamber (3) for a substance to be extracted (P), which is connected to the container; and (c) a condensation chamber (2) connected to the chamber for collecting the extract (E). The container is transparent to microwaves (MW), the inside of the condensation chamber is screened from MW and all the components form a single unit for placing in a microwave space for extraction.
