Abstract (en)
The invention relates to a mask for an oxygen breathing device. The mask according to the invention allows to supply oxygen in a first phase of an inspiration cycle and to supply ambient air in a second phase of said inspiration cycle. By this, elongated duration of oxygen supply is achieved since no oxygen is wasted for gas transport within the alveolar system of the person supplied with oxygen.
