[origin: EP2128069A2] The device has a bearing surface (32) for mounting an endless corrugated cardboard web, and a contact element (46) supported in a stand (34) and includes an extension (49), which exhibits a free end (48) for forming a bearing edge. Drive-devices (36, 37) are provided for moving the contact element. The contact element is movably supported in the stand in such a manner that the bearing edge is movable along a predetermined trajectory diagonally to the bearing surface for in-contact-bringing the bearing edge with the web that slides on the bearing surface. An independent claim is also included for a method for folding an endless corrugated cardboard web.
