Abstract (en)

The device (1) has a gripper strip (3b) moving in an insertion direction. A guide structure (5) is provided at the gripper strip and/or at a gripper head (3a). Guide elements (6.1-6.3) are combined together with the guide structure for guiding the gripper strip and/or the gripper head into a shed of a gripper loom. Start of the guiding of the guide structure by the guide elements is decelerated till gripping points (3') are 18 or 24 centimeters far in the shed. A trapezoidal element and a dovetail element are provided in the guide structure. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for inserting a weft thread into a shed of a gripper loom (2) a gripper loom including a device for inserting a weft thread into a shed of a gripper loom.

Abstract (de)

Es wird eine Vorrichtung (1) zum Eintragen eines Schussfadens (2) in ein Webfach (10) einer Greiferwebmaschine vorgestellt. Die Vorrichtung (1) umfasst ein in Eintragsrichtung bewegbares Greiferband (3b), an demselben einen Greiferkopf (3a) und mindestens ein Führungsteil (5), das am Greiferband oder am Greiferkopf vorgesehen ist, sowie mehrere Führungselemente (6.1 - 6.i+1), die mit dem Führungsteil zusammenwirken, um das Greiferband oder den Greiferkopf im Webfach zu führen, wobei der Beginn der Führung des Führungsteiles durch die Führungselemente verzögert ist, bis sich die Greiferspitze ( 3 ) mindestens 14 cm weit im Webfach befindet.
