Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2128360A1] The shackle (12) has two side shanks (13, 14) and a transverse shank (15) for providing a U-shaped basic form. The shank (14) is rotatably arranged relative to the transverse shank by actuating a tool contact surface (22), and engages with an outer thread (19) in a thread (21) that is firmly attached to a support plate (11). The thread is formed by an extruded thread (20) of the support plate. Lengths of the outer and inner threads are dimensioned in an axial direction such that an inclination of +- 4 millimeters of the threads is made based on a zero position. An independent claim is also included for a closure arrangement for a vehicle part, including a safety shackle.
