Abstract (en)
The engine has a cylinder head (1) for closing of a combustion chamber. A cooling system (2) of the cylinder head is provided with two cooling areas (3, 4). A block water casing stands in connection with the cooling area (4). Cooling agent enters from the block water casing into the cooling area (4), and the cooling agent discharges from the cooling area (4) into an outlet side in a flow direction in front of control elements (8, 9), via which the cooling agent that is discharged from the area (4) into the outlet side is mixed. Cooling agent streams are separated from each other till mixing.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Verbrennungsmotor mit zumindest einem Zylinderkopf (1) zum Abschluß zumindest eines Brennraumes, dem einlaßseitig zumindest ein Einlaßkanal und auslaßseitig zumindest ein Auslaßkanal zugeordnet ist, wobei dem Zylinderkopf (1) ein von einem kühlmitteldurchströmtes System (2) zugeordnet ist, wobei das Kühlsystem (2) des Zylinderkopfes (1) zumindest zwei Kühlbereich (3, 4) mit einem ersten Kühlbereich (3), der von einem ersten Kühlmittelstrom (6) durchströmt wird, und mit einem zweiten Kühlbereich (4), der von einem zweiten Kühlmittelstrom (7) durchströmt wird, bildet, und wobei dem Kühlsystem (2) Steuerelemente (8) zugeordnet sind, und wobei ein Blockwassermantel mit dem Kühlsystem (2) des Zylinderkopfes (1) in Verbindung steht, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Blockwassermantel mit dem zweiten Kühlbereich (4) in Verbindung steht, wobei das aus dem Blockwasserkreislauf in dem zweiten Kühlbereich (4) eintretende Kühlmittel und aus diesem auslaßseitig austretende Kühlmittel in Strömungsrichtung vor dem Steuerelement (8) mit dem aus dem ersten Kühlbereich (3) auslaßseitig austretende Kühlmittel vermischt wird, wobei die beiden Kühlmittelströmungen bis zu deren Vermischung zueinander kontaktfrei bzw. voneinander getrennt sind.
