Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2008116998A2] The invention relates to a device for inserting flat skewers into ingredients for making brochettes. According to the invention, the ingredients are disposed in a recess (1a) provided in at least one plate (1). The device includes an inlet guide (2) having a groove (2a) intended to receive a skewer (P) and co-operating with guiding means (3) that can re-centre the skewer as it it moved by a push element (4) inserted into the groove (2a). In addition, a second groove (1b) is provided in the plate (1) opposite the first groove, coaxially aligned with same. Said second groove opens into the above-mentioned recess (1a) that receives the ingredients. The second groove (1b) co-operates with guiding means (6) which can direct and hold the skewer as the ingredients are being skewered under the force of the push element (4).
