Abstract (en)

[origin: DE102007009165A1] The injector (1) has a stroke-movable valve piston (3) guided in an injector body (2). A riser bore (9) is extended to an end-sided guide section (7) along a stroke axis (4) by a valve piece (8). Fuel flows from a control chamber (10) via the guide section for stroke control of the valve piston in a ring chamber (11) that is attached between a guide hole (6) and the guide section. An output choke (12) is arranged in the area of a passage from the riser bore into the ring chamber, where the amount of fuel guided by the riser bore flows through the choke.
