Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2130967A1] The machine i.e. laundry dryer (1), has a drum (3) rotatably supported in a housing (2), and a loading opening (4) closable with a door. A heater (6) produces a process air stream (7) that flows through the drum in a closed condition of the door. The heater has a heat exchanger that is connected with a hot water system of a stationary heat generator via connections (8). The drum is automatically formed as the heat exchanger such that the hot water is guided directly via a drum wall (9). A fan (5) is arranged behind the drum.
