Closing damper (20) comprises a piston rod (220) extending from a first end surface of a moving piston (210) along a longitudinal axis of a hydraulic cylinder (200) through a first cylinder chamber (200-1) and protruding from the cylinder. An independent claim is also included for a fire protection door with the closing damper. Preferred Features: A flow limiting device connects the first cylinder chamber with a second cylinder chamber (200-2). A pre-tensioning device presses the moving piston in a predetermined direction so that a door closes itself.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen Türschließdämpfer für Brandschutztüren, der hohe Beschleunigungskräfte aufnehmen kann. Insbesondere ist der Türschließdämpfer der vorliegenden Erfindung ein hydraulisches System, das durch eine Kolbenstange gekennzeichnet ist, die sich von einer ersten Endfläche eines beweglichen Kolbens, der einen hydraulischen Zylinder in einen ersten und zweiten Zylinderraum unterteilt, entlang einer Längsachse des hydraulischen Zylinders durch den ersten Zylinderraum erstreckt, und die aus dem hydraulischen Zylinder herausragt.
