[origin: US2011003778A1] The present invention provides the use of mineralocorticoid receptor antagonists for preparing a medicament for the treatment of endometriosis. The present invention relates in particular to an improved therapeutic composition for endometriosis which has a more favorable activity and side-effect profile than treatment therapies currently available. Using a mineralocorticoid receptor antagonist, it is possible to threat endometriosis permanently without any loss of bone mass.
