Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2008095982A1] The invention relates to an apparatus for winding up a thread having two bobbin spindles (31, 32) which can be driven for receiving at least one thread lap (8.1). The bobbin spindles are held in a projecting manner on a movably arranged spindle carrier (2) and are guided by the spindle carrier alternatively into an operating position for winding the thread and a changing position for removing the thread lap. In order to change the thread lap, a doffer device (9) is provided which has a depositing table (10) which is arranged movably in the machine frame (1), wherein the depositing table can be guided between a removal position and a parked position in order to accept the thread lap. In order to make short changing times possible, according to the invention the depositing table is arranged in the machine frame directly in front of the bobbin spindle (3.1, 3.2) which is held in the changing position, and can be guided out of the removal position into the parked position by a pivoting movement, wherein, in the parked position of the depositing table, the thread lap (8.2) is arranged outside an imaginary axle extension of the bobbin spindle which is held in the changing position. It is therefore possible without delay to carry out a further operation of the bobbin spindle by plugging on a bobbin tube.
